By joining SCAJ, you are eligible for all membership benefits as stipulated in the bylaws.
By registering for an SCAJ event, you will gain access to all seminar related events and, when applicable, will receive credit for all Continuing Legal Education hours earned in that event.

SCAJ Membership Refund/Cancellation Policy
The South Carolina Association for Justice (SCAJ) reserves the right to refuse/cancel a membership in the SCAJ.
If SCAJ rejects a new applicant, applicant will be credited a refund.
Membership Cancellation by Participant
SCAJ yearly membership dues apply for a 12 month period. If a member cancels within that period, a refund will not be issued.
SCAJ members can cancel, or schedule to cancel at any time. Cancellations will be accepted via phone, fax or e-mail. All benefits and incentives received by participant must be cancelled/returned to the SCAJ.
These above policies apply to all SCAJ memberships unless otherwise noted.
SCAJ Event Refund/Cancellation Policy
All SCAJ Events will contain a specific cancelation policy period. As a registrant for an event, you are asked to please review the policy associated with that event.
- Each event will contain a specific date in which the registrant may receive a full refund with no penalties
- Each event may have a window of opportunity to cancel and receive a refund less a service fee.
- Each event will have a specific date, after which, no refunds will be given.
Cancellations will be accepted in writing only and must be received by or within the stated cancellation period.
All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit card holder.
Refund requests must include the name of the attendee and the event in question.
Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.
The above policies apply to all SCAJ Events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly.
Exhibitors, Sponsors, and Vendors of all SCAJ Events, who elect to pay through this website, waive their right to any cancelation refund.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing
We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us. As a benefit to your practice, for informational purposes only, the Association (with approval by the Executive Committee) may sell or rent your mailing address to outside vendors. No other personal information will be shared.
We will use your information to respond to you, regarding the reason you contacted us.
Your Access to and Control Over Information
You may opt out of any future contacts from us at any time. You can do the following at any time by contacting us via the email address or phone number given on our website:

• Change/correct any data we have about you.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.
