SCAJ Annual Convention

Each year in August, SCAJ members gather together for three exciting days at the Westin Resort and Spa on Hilton Head Island. Featuring a dozen seminars delivered by leading legal experts, the convention provides members a chance to qualify for 12 CLE credits which includes one ethics credit and one LEPR credit. Seminar topics range from ethics, torts and negligence, workers compensation, employment law, social security, criminal law to environmental law. The convention is also an excellent networking opportunity, allowing you to meet with leaders in your areas of practice and join the lively exchanges that take place during dozens of various events, including a welcoming reception on Thursday, dinner and drinks by the beach on Friday, a live band party on Friday, and culminating with the Judicial Portrait presentation at the Saturday morning breakfast.

Volunteer Today!

The South Carolina Association for Justice (SCAJ) was founded over 50 years ago by a small group of trial lawyers. Since then, our mission has been to serve our members and those we are sworn to protect.  We work to uphold and defend the constitutions of our state and nation. We fight tirelessly to protect the rights of the individual; to seek justice through open and fair courtrooms; to resist unjust laws; to support policies that hold wrongdoers accountable; to strengthen the civil justice system through education; and to uphold the highest standards of ethical conduct and integrity in the legal profession.
